They told me "it will change you". I went to Uganda. Now I know what they meant...

As worldly as I may think I am, I am "an American". I take for granted that I am one of the tiny percentile of people that have inhabited the Earth that was born in the nineteenth century in the United States. In Uganda I experienced a different world. Natural equatorial highlands beauty, for sure. What was most different was the economy and how millions of people get along with it and walk so beautifully. The people of Uganda could teach us a lot.

I was delighted by The Undugu Family Culture Association Cultural Troupe :
This group of young people are fulfilling a mission that is gracious beyond words. Here's a link to a very good story about them by Sho Huang: http://lonelytrooper.blogspot.com
